City Bouldering

Back to basics for this bouldering website

Challenge

City Bouldering is a climbing company with a growing portfolio of bouldering centres across London. As the company has expanded, the website had become more difficult for the client to manage and more confusing for customers to browse and make bookings.

Solution

We went back to basics, reviewing the overall website sitemap and simplifying the customer journey. By utilising a filter and tag system we were able to manage all events, across all centres, from one single database. We used the same structure to manage membership and class pricing and give each location a dedicated landing page where customers could access everything they need to know for their local centre.

We added an extra layer of interactivity by loading the beginners page bottom to top encouraging users to 'climb' up the page
