Valkyrie
Challenge
'Valkyrie' is a new range of limited edition spirits (Barbados Rum & Navy Strength Gin) distributed by Dropzone Brewery - A military veteran-owned business
Arobase were commissioned to create a brand identity for the new spirits range and carry the design system through to the bottle labels. Due to the limited edition nature of the product the labels required an ultra-premium aesthetic to increase the products desirability.
Solution
The name Valkyrie originates in Norse mythology which inspired the viking style helmet that is gold foiled on each of the spirit labels. The Norse themes are combined with elements of the Parachute Regiment Insignia such as the spread wings and the parachute keyline that is subtly embossed on the packaging. The maroon colour palette is also inspired by the beret colour worn by the parachute regiment.
